North Path Transmission Project Details

About the North Path Transmission Project

RETA has entered into a development and lease agreement with Invenergy for co-development of North Path, which offers 400 miles of a high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) transmission line rated to carry up to 4,000 MW of renewable energy.

This transmission line will carry renewable energy from northeastern New Mexico to interconnect to the Four Corners Substation in northwestern New Mexico.

Expected completion date for this project is 2032.
