
Noah Long
Speaker of the House Appointee
Noah Long is a Senior Attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council where he directs their Climate and Clean Energy efforts in the Interior West and Pacific Northwest. For a dozen years with NRDC he has worked to advance policies for deploying renewable energy, increasing energy efficiency, and cleaning up dirty power plants in the west. In addition to RETA, he sits on the boards of the Interwest Energy Alliance and Conservation Voters New Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College, a master’s in international development and environmental policy from the London School of Economics, and a JD from Stanford Law School. He moved back to his hometown of Santa Fe, NM in 2013 where he lives with his wife, Meghan Mead, and three children: Rainier, Camille and Sylvia. In his free time he likes to be on a bike, in canoe, in hiking boots, or on skis.
