On July 1, 2024, LYNN E. MOSTOLLER became the new Executive Director of the New Mexico Renewable Energy Transmission Authority (RETA). She has served as RETA’s general counsel since 2016. Prior to joining the RETA team, she was a shareholder with the Albuquerque law firm, Sutin Thayer & Browne. In addition to her work with RETA, she has practiced primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, regulatory and administrative law, renewable energy project development, employment law, and appeals. In 2013 she received a Guardian of Liberty Award from the ACLU NM for her volunteer work on Griego v. Oliver, the case that established marriage equality in New Mexico. In 2004, she clerked for Judge Harris Hartz at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Mostoller graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2004, summa cum laude. She holds a Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. She is the second trombonist of the Santa Fe Symphony.
