James Miller

James Miller is a retired New Mexico educator who spent most of his career as an elementary school teacher, US Army Base education representative, public school superintendent and regional Branch College Dean/Director.

Miller has worked on various types of renewable energy in New Mexico since 1980, including wind, solar, biomass and energy efficiency. His most recent projects include wind turbine technician training and EV charging station installation in rural New Mexico.He continues to work on Tribal utility scale solar projects with the Mescalero Apache Nation.

Miller holds a Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico (UNM), a Master of Public Administration from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from UNM. Miller has had a career-long interest in Adult Basic Education and Early Childhood Education. He is also currently serving as a Lincoln County Election Judge.
